This event will be back next year. Til then, enjoy the spring weather and the dry season ahead.

Please be advised that the trails around the lodge, Including the Waska , Can Am And Voyageur loops will be closed from 8 AM until 12 Noon on Saturday March 10 due to Pat’s Ride for All.

 

Please feel free to use the Green Bean and Violette loops instead.  The full trail system will be reopened in the afternoon.

Please keep in mind that this will be altered due to weather (rain, snow, warm temps) or groomer breakdowns. If a storm is coming within a day, especially mid-week, we may postpone grooming.  We expect to have all grooming done by 8am most mornings except during or right after snowstorms. Classic track will be set on all trails except Grand Outlook whenever possible.

Meet at the Caribou Country Club ski trails parking lot. Bring a headlamp if you have one… but the moonlight should be all we need on this no drop classic ski on nicely groomed beginner/intermediate trails sheltered by the trees!

All ability levels are welcome this week! Maybe you want to check out the course for Aroostook Cup #6 Race/Tour (Sunday, 2/26)… or maybe this will be your first time on skis and we would love to help you get started off on the right… ski!

Just head out Route 161 (Sweden Street). It is about 3 miles on the right just past McElwain’s Strawberry Farm. Once you’ve turned right the driveway will fork. Take the right fork and park at the trail head. (The left fork takes you up the hill to the lodge.)   Trail donations are accepted at all local trail systems - including this one!
