Grooming Schedule

Ski trails will be groomed on the following evenings: Friday, Saturday, Monday and Wednesday.  Lesser used trails  be groomed as needed but at least twice per week.   We will be grooming according to this schedule as much as possible. Please keep in mind that this will be altered due to weather (rain, snow, warm temps) or groomer breakdowns. If a storm is coming within a day, especially mid-week, we may postpone grooming.  We expect to have all grooming done by 8am most mornings except during or right after snowstorms. Classic track will be set on all trails except Grand Outlook whenever possible.

Friday FUNdamentals is heading up the road this Friday, February 3rd at 6pm. Meet at the Caribou Country Club ski trails parking lot. Bring a headlamp if you have one… but the moonlight should be all we need on this no drop classic ski on nicely groomed beginner/intermediate trails sheltered by the trees!

All ability levels are welcome this week! Maybe you want to check out the course for Aroostook Cup #6 Race/Tour (Sunday, 2/26)… or maybe this will be your first time on skis and we would love to help you get started off on the right… ski!

Just head out Route 161 (Sweden Street). It is about 3 miles on the right just past McElwain’s Strawberry Farm. Once you’ve turned right the driveway will fork. Take the right fork and park at the trail head. (The left fork takes you up the hill to the lodge.)   Trail donations are accepted at all local trail systems - including this one!

8:30 PM         Return to Lodge, more snacks, drinks

 

 Place:                        10^th Mountain Lodge

 

 Cost:              $5.00 to play

 

 No knowledge of poker rules is necessary!

 All ages welcome!

Best hand wins half of the registration pot, 2^nd and 3^rd places receive prizes.  Remaining half of entry fees go to 10^th Mountain Club to pay the bills!

 

Please bring:

Snowshoes

Headlamp/Flashlight

Warm clothes, boots

Beverages, if desired

 

Event will be held regardless of weather, temperature or cloud cover.
